Gor and Pam joined the rest of the 829 couples in Singapore to register their marriage on 10 October 2010.

I love to see the blissful grin on my brother's face and i'm very happy that he's found someone so endearing as my sis-in-law. Can't wait for their wedding reception next June :)))

it was a weekend filled with so much love: love for the wedding couple (Paul and Paula), love for a newborn (Charlee) and love for a fellow brother (Dougie's birthday)!! I thank God for showing me just how much love we have and will continue to have for everyone around us and His loving kindness. :)))))

our "dumbo" Lala ROM-ed today with her scholarly husband Yee Hong!!! :P:P:P:P

It was a simple ceremony but filled with alot of laughter coz both are so blur! haha! but we were all so happy for her and everyone took so many photos of them, i think it's possible to put into a wedding album for the actual day on 11th Dec :)))))))


hOi and I had fun helping Lala choose her gowns for her photoshoot in Feb (she's one efficient bride!) and this is her all worn out from trying so many different ones but she looks pretty in all of them in Yee Hong's eyes. This is love :)))))))))))))


It's another week before we fly back to Brissy and really settle into married life. I guess I'll miss the girls terribly (but yay to Lala & hOi coming to Melb! - better than nothing at least we're in the same time zone save for daylight savings! :P) and the convenience of meeting up with friends over a prata or coffee late at night :/

Owells, I'm truly grateful for the past 1month of holiday spent with loved ones and we're truly well-rested in His grace :) Bring on more challenges so that we can both grow together in the Holy Spirit that will strengthen us :))))))

It was over before we knew it but we loved every bit of our wedding especially when all our family and friends could join us in celebrating this special day :)

Special shoutouts to our dearest jiemeis and xiongdis for ensuring everything went so smoothly and also to Cheryl for taking the polaroids (everyone said you were so cute! :P) and dearie Andrea for manning the reception :)

Thanks to Dr Singh for making our solemnisation extra special with the wedding reading. It was really memorable :))))

I'm still exhilarated from the bridal shower cooking class i had this morning with my girlfriends (or was it the lovely lychee champagne? :P).

Lovely meals we prepared: L-R Stuffed spatchcock with mozarella and cheddar, baked alaska, spicy meatballs in sake consomme and smoked salmon with cucumber yoghurt *thumbs up!*

All my girlfriends!!

Thanks to all of you who came for my bridal shower :))) It was a truly memorable experience and I love all of you girls!!

The past few days have been spent scurrying around getting another evening gown (don't get me started on the story but i love my purchase!), accessories (another fave! :P), shoes (cheap!), nubra (interesting :P) and shoes/tie/belt for Eug.

I'm really exhausted and whenever my gfs asked if i'm excited/nervous that the B-I-G day is coming, to be honest, i really don't feel much until I saw the first cut of our wedding montage video from Moomedia.

The reality finally sink in: i'm gonna be married next Saturday (10 days more!)!!!!!!

I teared as I watched the video because I still can't quite believe I'll be walking down the aisle with the man of my life in a matter of days. Everything has been surreal up to this point and tonight, it finally materalised.

I'm a happy woman and I can't thank God enough for Eug, my family, my new mummy and bro-in-law and wonderful girlfriends.

P/S: my dearest HOI is BACK!!!! *muacks muacks* time to rescue this gong-gong bride!!!

P/P/S: our JP called just now to arrange time to meet up and he's the sweetest!! He said he has personal interest in every couple's ROM and don't do run-off-the-mill kind of ceremonies. Each one should be special, light-hearted yet emotionally moving for the couple. WOW. I can't wait already!

P/P/P/S: my partner and his wife is in town and we're bringing them to Roland's for their famous chilli crab tomorrow night! YAY!!!

As with tradition, the groom's family/parents will have to bring over bridal gifts to the bride's family as a token of welcoming the bride to the family (i think :P)

MIL prepared these lovely gifts and have them nicely wrapped and with the 喜 stickers on them too!!

dearest MIL is getting her friend who's working at a florist to help prepare my bridal bouquet, the boutonnieres and car deco :)

Suggested this to her: Bluish/white hydrangeas

Saw this on snippet and ink awhile back and i loved the flower! It's so simple and classy, just the way i like it :)

Because hydrangeas are seasonal, we got a 2nd option as well: white lilies with blue ribbon

Ain't these lovely as well? Love the dark blue ribbon (mine's light blue though) contrasting with the white to look like a tuxedo! Cute~~

I just spent >8hours doing the stupid FIN project :S I hate doing assignments because they just take up too much time, brain power and energy!! :/:/:/

Shall post updates frequently because it's already November!!!

2 more months to the BIG DAY :D

1. We've finalised the design and insert for our wedding invites. Glad that they have the colour we wanted :)

2. Ordered customised macarons to the theme colour too! Abit expensive but we think it's worth it because it's so lovely! I heart macarons :D

Done up a long list of tasks and assigned to Eug and my lovely NWC members (Nadyne's wedding committee): hOi, andrea and lala!! I love my fiance and girls!! *muacks!*

Getting closer to each day that we're going back SG and spend fabulous time with our family and loved ones.

YAY!!

Pleasantly surprised to find this website as recommended by Karen Cheng!

Pink Frosting is an Aussie website that caters to all kinds of parties: wedding, anniversaries, hen/buck party, bridal/baby shower, birthdays etc and they provide all kinds of knick knacks!!


We can customize this to our names or wedding slogan and put on each plate for the blue touches!

Cost: A$29.50 for a set of 50pcs (16.5cm x 16.5cm). Up to 8 layouts to choose from.

I intended to have a macaron croqumbouche as our wedding cake, but on second thought, it maybe quite messy and troublesome to individually put them into these lovely boxes after the cake-cutting ceremony.

Might just get the baker to bake 120pcs of macaros (either blue/brown - chocolate flavour!) and we'll stuff them into the boxes the night before.

Cost: A$1.95 per pcs.

Ser has kindly designed our motifs and I absolutely loved it!! (secret for now :P) Gonna print them on stickers so that we can stick onto these boxes as well.

Any more ideas we can use to add on the blue touches? I should be using white table cloths as it's the basic colour that can bring out everything :) Maybe i should request some blue flowers as the centrepiece...

Oh i'll be needing blue ribbons, not sure what i'll do with it but i'm pretty confident it'll come in handy! HEH

Other ideas:

1. Blue paper cone for flower petals - guests to throw when the bridal party walk down the aisle
2. Nice wonderful cloth (preferably sea like theme) as backdrop for photo booth
3. Toys for phototaking: thinking fake felt moustaches, harry potter glasses, balloons, straw hats
4. Black pens tied with brown ribbons for guest to sign on guestbook
5. Assorted seashells

Too bad i can't make it back for her wedding :( Would love to see her walk down the aisle with the man in her life.

Really happy for her because we're both getting married within 1 month of each other :):):)

Time really flies and can't imagine back then when we were both St. Nicks gals, singing in sch's choir and sharing about our life!
