thank God for the long Easter break!!

Eug and I managed to steal some time to escape from the city into the tranquil Mt Tamborine for a good weekend of doing NOTHING! hahaa :D

it's our first visit to the mountains but we were attracted to the peace and tranquility of the surroundings and we fell in love with it!

To top it off, we were greeting by our lovely hosts at our luxurious B&B hotel and found ourselves in a tastefully decorated room!

After settling in, we went to Gallery Walk where the famous handicrafts and knicks knacks are sold. Each shop has their unique identity and everything was so pristine and delicate you really want to buy them back home!

And on our way we saw alot of interesting things!

like the mr froggie lazing on the chair; cheeky garden sticks to 'welcome' your guests and a goat made out of recycled metal.

Flowers were blooming too! Got snapshots of different varieties and thanks to the rain, they were more beautiful than usual!
we went to the Witches Cheese and Winery to tour but no one was really doing the wine tasting so we went back after a few photographs.

the next day, we were greeted with sumptuous breakfast prepared by the hosts and it definitely kick start to a better morning ahead~!

We went to the recommended Sunday market but was a little disappointed as the variety wasn't as nice as those at Eumundi.

and we stopped by the national park to admire the vast view below and rain started to pelt down :/

For the rest of the day we were pretty much kept indoors but it was lovely to snuggle up and watch some DVDs. :)

I love such holidays because you really feel like you're completely at rest. :)

Thank God for holidays~~~
