couzzie spree @ Vivo
Friday, August 10, 2007 @ 11:30 pm I still can't believe we've roamed the whole of Vivo for 8hrs. Amazing women. *winkz* ;) Met up with my couzzie to open account at HSBC. Spent about 1hr there, fussing with the admin stuff and listening to the personal wealth manager selling me her ILP. I thot there's no harm of knowing more so that I can see if my Gor had 'cheated' me. Jus kidding :P After that, we decided to comb Vivo level-by-level, shop-by-shop, and no kid, this is both our FIRST time doing this! Past few visits were usually to the selected stores and always in kind of a hurry and mad rush. We explored many stores (I din noe there's a Joop boutique, but the tops didn't fit me. Owells.) and found alot of knick knacks! Lunch was at Bosses aka 黑社会 for cheap dim-sum. (From 2.30 to 5.30pm) We had an overdose of dough, ordered steamed xiao-long baos, chilli xiao-long baos, fried gyoza and tau kee wrapped with chee cheong fun. 3 refills of our Pu-er and 1 plate of sweet walnuts (which turned out to be the most expensive dish! wth. =x) Cured our stomach, we began more window shopping and tried a few tops at various stores but both me and couzzie din manage to find anything we like. Then we went to Tangs' 2nd level and found this corner that sells real cool household items and i bought a Mao Ze Dong red tote! (chk out the pic below). It'll be such an attention grabber when I carry to the streets. Mission accomplished! ;) We shared a Boost juice which was naturally tasty and rich with Vit C. According to couzzie, that's her fave drink back in Perth, but I think is a tad pricey for fruit juice. hahah :P After walking the whole of Vivo for almost 10 times (okay, we sort of lost our direction every now and then coz it's jus too HUUUGE!), we rested our feet at Corduroy Cafe intro-ed by couzzie. It's snugged at one little corner, hidden from the rest of the flurried shoppers. It has excellent view of Sentosa and the harbour (must sit near the windows!), and a really warm and romantic interior design.
