Yes, this is what I'll see everyday for the next couple of weeks.
Down at Gold Coast for a big job with 3 other team members (I'm the youngest) and we get to stay at a nice 2 bedroom service apartment that overlooks the Surfer's Paradise Mall.
Late hours are compensated by good food at restaurants, but I'd rather go back earlier to the apartment and have a shower and rest.
Oh well, I can't complain coz I'm at such a beautiful place for work! :) Everything's expensive here and thank God for the tourist attractions and these 2 weeks of school holidays for Aussie kids, shops and restaurants open much later and we can claim good dinners at restaurants!
We had dinner at this decorative Thai restaurant at Crown Plaza and it was so delish! I had tom yum soup and papaya salad and it was awesome! I've been craving for authentic Thai food that has just the right kind of spice and I definitely feel satiated!
Loads of time for the next few weeks to explore and I heard them saying we might just try cooking our own dinner one of the nights. I guess you'll get sick eating out everyday :P
Oh and GOOD NEWS!! Internet back at home is FINALLY connected. *HALLELUJAH!* It took us more than 1 month since we moved in to finally get a connection. And I don't get to use it till weekend! *bleah*
