How's your Lunar New Year celebrations so far? Bet most of you would've gotten BIG, FAT angbaos alr rite?? :)

My celebrations started on Friday, when I met up with my dear galfrens for KTV together! *woot!~* It's been more than 1 year since we last sang together, and we ALMOST couldn't!

Well, it's partly my fault, booked the KTV at Katong too early and we were terribly late so they cancelled our booking. But luckily we managed to find one at S'goon Gardens, and altho we had to fight our voices with those aunties and uncles belting out Hokkien songs outside of our room, it was really FUN! And I even danced on the sofa itself! hohoho :D

After KTV, Jiesi suggested prata and we went to somewhere nearby to eat! It was really great fun to see all of them together and of course my dear pal, Winne's back from Shanghai to celeb LNY too! :)

And today, MB and I had a nice and simple dinner to celebrate Valentine's. I insisted on going low profile on the actual day and not do anything. I don't quite like the idea of being overwhelmed by that so called 'special day' for couples. My special day is our anniversary, a day that is unique to myself (or at least to my knowledge).

And so just a pasta combo meal for 2, no candlelights or soft music. The most romantic moment is when I have the love of my life sitting opposite me. :)

Just realised I haven been updating my blog for quite some time already.

Sometimes it’s just pure laziness, sometimes, I don’t really know how to pen down the overwhelming thoughts that I have constantly.

Managed to survive 1 month plus of the peak period, and now I’m on to the 3rd job assignment, which luckily is in town where there’s more buzz going around me. (but too bad, lunch hours are short and there ain’t much time for me to take a walk)

First job was quite difficult because I was struggling to do something that I haven done before. The process of learning and completing on time was painful, but on hindsight, it did provide me with a good learning opportunity to learn a lot of things. Am thankful to the senior who actually sat down with me to teach me the basics from scratch in order to help me build up my foundation. (to think I actually found him quite stern and strict, but his tone was actually pretty intimidating at that point in time)

Anyhow, the second was SLIGHTLY better but I was also tasked with doing numerous sections that I haven tried before. Was quite stressed initially with all the work load piling up and was only towards the end of the 1st week did I settle down and start to prioritise my work and tread through the work.

As for now, am glad that my workload has considerably lighten due to the nature of audit and I can feel all the ‘people movement’ in town and nice scenery too! This has definitely helped to shed some heavy burden off my mind :)

Really thank the Lord for always showing me the light and give me guidance when I needed it.

On a lighter note, it’s gonna be Chinese New Year soon!

This has got to be the first CNY I’m having since I started work. Totally had ‘no feeling’ until Mum and Dad started to gradually spruce up the house, and more shopping for CNY clothes with Sujun and Jiesi!

Next week gonna be a activity-packed week!

Tuesday night, my darling Winne will be back from Shanghai for 2 week CNY break! Can’t wait to hear gossips from her and of course give her a BIG hug! :P (Winne, if u’re reading this, be prepared!! *winkz*)

And Wed is Valentine’s Day! But the day will be spent at work. It’s actually quite a good thing coz the actual day will always be packed with people in restaurants and a lot of touters trying to sell you roses and such. Hate this kind of commercial thing, would rather spend some quality time with my MB at home or something. :P
Thursday will be having a dinner with my Uni pals. Missed the guys TERRIBLY!!! Really miss those days of bitching abt school work, going for lunch at Can A, going FAL to print notes and of course, the guys crowding at Bisheng’s room for Winning Eleven! (and poor me, have to watch them trying to break the joystick of the controller! :P)

Planning to go PS Café at Dempsey Road there, heard a lot of reviews that that plc is pretty cool and have quite nice food too. ;) Shall post up pics and review after Thursday. :)

Friday will be the LONG-AWAITED karaoke session with my gal pals!!! And it’s also Winne’s 23rd birthday! Hoho, the Da Jie amongst us first to turn 23! :P

Hopefully, these activities will keep me motivated to work more efficiently! Haha :)
