Have you guys been to the new Changi Airport Terminal 3?? If you haven't you should!!!
It's really spacious and HUUUUGGE!!! My parents and I walked for about 2 hours covering all floors and it's really an eye-opener.
The ceilings are very high and brighly lit, and supposedly they have panels that will adjust according to the daylight to bring in the maximum amount of sun indoors as possible.
The whole feeling is really liken that of the HK Chep Lak Kok Airport, for the brightness and it's immense space.
I already can't wait to go into the departure area, where there's Harry's, Brewerkz, Il Lido Tapas and Wine Lounge, Gelare and many more :) I think it's really smart of them to put so many interesting stuff inside, so that more people will want to check-in early to shop and browse and they can save some trouble of calling for late-comers through the intercom, don't you think? :)
