my New Year resolution
Tuesday, January 02, 2007 @ 11:38 am
I suppose those who have a blog would write sth abt the year 2006 that has jus come to a close and their new expectation for 2007 rite?
But seriously, I think half the time new year resolutions dun get materialised and more often than not, we almost immediately forget abt it RIGHT after we make out some.
In review: 2006
2006 has been a GREAT year for me, thank God.
Jan - May: I finally concluded my last semester in NTU and graduated with a 2nd Upp Honors in Bach of Accoutancy. Secured a job at Pricewaterhouse and went for my grad trip w my parents and gal pal Winne to Taiwan and HK.
I made great friends in Uni like Roy, Bisheng, Ee Sin, my FYP mates Edwin and Ben, who became my gang whom we hang out in school.
July: Donned the unanimous convocation robe on July 27th and graduated with my bunch of pals at NTU Auditorium. Received the most expensive piece of paper from the Dean of Accountancy and congratulated myself for surviving 3 years in NTU!
Sep: Started work on the 4th at Pricewaterhousecoppers, along with my good pal, hOi. Known 36 other friends from my batch and started a crazy 3 months of work, fun and play!
As you can see, 2006 to me was more of fun and laughter and i'm truly thankful to the Lord for such a blessed year.
Expectation: 2007
As u can see from my msn nick, my New Year resolution is to EARN BIG MONEY.
Abit materalistic but I think this is the most practical way of fulfilling the resolution.
Of course, I hope my family and loved ones continue to stay healthy and happy; there is work satisfaction and recognition from superiors; hope to be sponsored to overseas to study AND to continue to walk the faith with my lovely Father.
I hope everyone has been recharged for the brand new year and be ready to embrace new challenges that is coming ahead!
All the best to everyone and let's all strive to work hard towards our goals! :)
cheers,
sHu
