interview + JB + serene's farewell

haha basically, my past week has been categorised above: interviews, JB trip on Saturday and farewell luncheon today with Serene and hOi.
First, interviews. Had applied for AGD and Siemens traineeship program, and this week had 2nd round for AGD and analytical test for Siemens.
I guessed most of my pals would have heard my 'complaints' regarding the arrogant b**ch at AGD and how we had 'cross-fired' during the interview, resulting in her challenging me to write a paper on public policy. Shall not dwell into it, but after thinking and attempting to research on possible topics to write for my paper, I've decided to give up. Not in the negative sense, but basically, I CAN'T BE BOTHERED with her. But I'll write an email regarding my thoughts and feelings during the interview. Will post up the mail and her response (if she does reply) on my blog, so stay tuned!
Siemens test was another gruelling one. It started off with a 6min test on mathematical sequences, and I immediately was stumped. I hadn't done these for years and when I saw those sequences, my mind just went blank. Fortunately, I managed to work out one and guessed the other. 2 answered out of 10 questions. The rest were equally pressurising and time-crunching. Before we could finished reading the instructions on the paper, the time has already passed a minute. Second part was to write an essay on how I would think my country would be like in 10 years' time. Ok, that was easy, coz 10 years ain't that long anyway. It was a good experience overall. :)
On Saturday, MB and I decided to venture out of Spore to JB and check out any new stuff on the other side of the causeway. We only arrived at the M'sian customs ard 3pm and made our way to Holiday Plaza after that. Walked around, changed our money and I tried to look for some nice dresses but the stuff there weren't that fantastic. In the end, we ended up cutting hair at a poshly-decorated salon, with sofa and chandeliers. Waited for almost an hour before my turn, and by which, MB had almost finished with his haircut. Mine was long, with loooong washing and scrubbing, loooong cutting (I was only trimming!) and loooong hair drying. Only redeeming factor was that it made all my Ringgit worth (we spent about 2hours jus to cut hair!) and I must say the stylist' skills was not bad.

After which, we went back to City Square to bum around. It was slightly more buzzling than Holiday Plaza, but again, the fashion there didn't quite match my preference either. Dinner was at Season's (think it was a joint venture with Swensen's) and we had spring chicken, iced lemon tea and topless 5 at almost half price!!

check out the spring chicken! it's like 4 Sing dollars only lor! :P
We came out about 9pm and clearing S'pore customs was so fast!! Reached home slightly after 10pm. Gotten 2 sets of Taiwanese dramas DVDs!! So happy! been wanting to watch it long ago, now I can!! ;) And the air in JB is really quite polluted, coz me and MB had 2 pimples each on our face already!! boohoo :/
Met up with hOi and Serene today as our dear baby girl is going to leave for studies in Melbourne on Wednesday! boohoo, so many people leaving!! :(
Lunch was at Galilee & Friends cafe on the 5th floor of Cineleisure and we gotten a good corner seat. Too bad it was raining, else the view would've been great!
