Hey guys!! Did anyone missed me?? hee :P
Been away for 11 days and my mailbox was so FULL!! But, most of them are spam mails and those from school..
Jus managed to upload some SELECTED photos onto Flickr, click here to view them! I won't be blogging much coz there's jus TOO much to say, so view the photos one by one (not slideshow) coz I've added description to each picture :)
On the whole, it was really a GREAT graduation trip. All thanks to my parents for their GENEROUS support so I can really enjoy myself and Winne's company during the trip! :)
Taiwan - It was quite ok actually, considering we travel with tour group, but I still managed to see alot of beautiful scenery along the way and visited the major cities, from Northern to Southern parts of Taiwan as well. One thing was our tour guide wasn't very good, coz most of the time, we were self-entertaining from the karaoke system in the coach. And there are too many of those places where they bring you to shop so they can get commission.
Then again, I decided to take this package was because none of us have been to Taiwan, and it was really impossible to visit so many places within 7 days without a tour guide. But I'll definitely go back again, most prob to Taipei or along the railway route on my own again in future :)
Hong Kong - Extension to HK was mainly coz Daddy had never gone there before. Last time I went was in 2000, with Mommy after 'O' Levels. Alot has changed in HK; more shopping malls in Tsim Sha Tsui and some remain unchanged as well: like the cheap tram and ferry that we took :)
This time round, all thanks to Kor who went earlier to recce, we found places to shop till we dropped (literally, coz we spent almost 2 hrs in G2000 Ladies and Esprit each!) and managed to eat at some famous shops for our 3 meals :)
It was really a great 11 days out and thank God for the wonderful weather in the last 2 days, so we managed to go Macau after all :) Oh and we actually experience Typhoon Pearl's (the typhoon alert was up to No 3!) effects!! Quite cool :P
Guess I won't be going to Taiwan or Hong Kong anytime soon (unless it's for work). Next stop is Australia next year!!! :P
