dreadful weather....
Thursday, January 12, 2006 @ 10:42 pm

something must be wrong with the weather nowadays.. it has been raining on-off since last year (last few days of Dec 05) right until early Jan. When will it ever stop and let the sun come out for at least one FULL day??

i like rainy days but not so RAINY u noe? it's getting gloomy and weary. Every morning when i picked myself up from my beauty sleep and it's raining/drizzling, I really had the urge to plunge back to my soft pillow and continue to sleep. But i can't coz I'll be late for sch and I dun like to be late.

this kind of weather is just so depressing... i tot only UK has such greyish and gloomy kind of weather. but i guess the whole world is changing.

maybe the hole in the ozone layer got bigger and bigger and the whole climate around the world is changing to a crazy shiat. :/

met up with our fyp tutor today. there are both good and bad news.

Good news - we found a clear direction amidst the pile of stuff that were 'clouding' around us. thank God and thanks to Prof Choo!

Bad news - he subtlely emphasized that he dun wan us to give him our detailed draft towards the later part of the semester when the deadline is almost up. he mentioned that he was rather worried when he saw the brief structure we gave him (btw, that was done q long ago and also to sort of 'please' him so that he at least haf sth to read :P). I can safely say, my fyp mates and I have really worked hard to gather loads of information. But of course, much is to be done wrt analysis and our contribution towards the project. Fire up guys!

after sch, met up with MB and we went to Arab Street to check out some of the unique shops that i've read about on newspapers. But to our dismay, it was raining again, and we couldn't really shop comfortably without our feet getting soaked and our slippers getting soggy and icky.

we rested our tired and wet feet at a small cafe. I ordered a cup of hot Earl Grey while he got himself a rather sour 'orangina-like' concoction of drink. We realised that it was almost 5pm when our drinks came and it didn't look nice to walk around along the streets when it's raining.

so we settled for an early dinner of Chicken Murtabak (that was half soggy coz of the curry) and almost-tasteless Ice Teh-C. Remember, next time when u're at Arab Street, NEVER eat prata at the shop called 'Zam Zam Restaurant" coz honestly, we felt that it wasn't worth our money over the plate of prata. Should haf gone to the shop that was 2 doors down (called "Mina Prata" i think) coz MB and his fren ate there before and he said it was much better and ppl there were friendlier.
