As I was v free, I decided to write an email my dearest hOi.

To: hoining321@yahoo.com.sg
CC: ssjie@yahoo.com
Subject: To my Dearest Friend

Dearest Hoi,

We have known each other for about 5 years (the number increases automatically) and I would just like to let you know that how dear a friend you are to me.

We have been through many stages in our lives and been through a lot, albeit together or in each of our own individual lives. Sometimes I wonder the unique intricacies of friendship that can actually bind us together, altho we can be 2 very different individuals.

So I felt that after 5 years of friendship (the number increases automatically), I feel that it is time we should something for each other.

To start the ball rolling, here's a list of what YOU can do for ME to express your utmost appreciation towards our friendship:

1. Get me a real genuine (i don't mind 2nd hand) Gucci/Prada/LV handbag from your Korea trip
2. I want a box of Belgium top-grade dark chocolates/milk chocolates (NB: Must be those that melt in your mouth. And i don't mean M&Ms) from Europe
3. Help me take a scenery shot of the Big Ben (UK), Leaning Tower of Pisa (Spain), Colosseum(Rome), so that I can photoshop myself into the picture to show people that I actually tagged along with you on your Europe trip.
4. Half a pound of Swiss cheese from their local factory in Europe
5. A bottle of red wine from the duty free shop at Changi Airport Terminal (1 or 2)

The above list is not exhaustive and is the LEAST that you can do for this good friend of yours for the past 5 years (the number will increase automatically).

Last but definitely not the least (I'll 3G you the rest of the list that I want you to get for me when you reach there. ;), enjoy your trip and hope to see a FULL baggage of MY GOODIES when you're home. Lemme noe if you nid transport back home, I'll arrange for a Maxicab (coz u'll prob be overloading your luggage with MY GOODIES) to send u back and to be paid by YOU.

Have a great trip and Bon Voyage!!~~~

Cheers,
sHu the ULTIMATE

DISCLAIMER: Pls take the above email with a pinch of salt (I said a pinch and not a handful, and pls DON'T THROW that salt into my face, I'm ALLERGIC to salt). You know that I still LOVE YOU loads even if you don't fulfill items 2-5 (Item no 1 is COMPULSORY!!)

Lastly, hope you had a great laugh!!! :D You'll be greatly missed here!

..............................................................................................................................

haha u shud read wat she wrote on her blog also!! :P We had a great laugh! ;D

*YAWNZ* jus got back from a great hang out nite with Ugin, Ben and Geok.

after my driving, Ugin came to fetch me to Suntec to walk walk and meet up with Ben n Geok for drinking. Geok was late, as usual, and the 3 of us head off to Paulaner Brauhas for their own brewed beer first.

Ugin and I ordered a Munich Lager, which is abt 4.7% alcohol level and quite light and smooth in taste. Ben's Munich Dark was richer in malt and tasted better than ours. Darn, shud haf tried out before ordering. :P After Geok came, we adjourned to Zee10 for more drinking. This pub was opened by Zoe Tay and her friends. The place was quite cosy with couches to sit. We had 3 Hoegaardens and Ugin had his taste of Lychee Maguerita which taste similiarly to the Lychee Martini I had on Wed. The Hoegaarden tasted weird after awhile and i had to abandon it. We played cards and I was abit 'seh' after downing 1 Lager, 1/4 Hoegaarden and 3/4 Lychee Maguerita. All of the said i was getting rowdy and crazy, but luckily i was still talking normally and could play cards as per normal. ;P

After all the harmful drinking, we went to Geylang for you tiao and soya bean milk! yummy!! the place was packed as usual, and with people that were like early 20s to mid 30s. The auntie commented that Geok was pretty with the blush due to the alcohol! haha :P Had a nice supper with the guys and we headed home.

It was a realli great time hanging out with them and we promised there'll be more to come! Mebbe not drinking all the time, but doin other activities perhaps.

Gotta go sleep, damn tired. Pardon me for my incoherent sentences, getting a bit sleepy.....Zzzz

Taken at Eski Bar along Boat Quay area. The fashion show ended rather earli and it was rather boring standing in the small area inside Post Bar so we adjourned for more chit-chatting and drinking at Eski Bar. The place was realli cold, but a few drops of beer down and it ain't too cold after all.

Some photos that we took, courtesy of Ms Geok's persistence and whining that we shoud take more photos.... haha :P

it was a super busy day!!

stepped into the office at quarter before 9am and boss was there already. Tot i could slack and surf net abit but had to pull up my socks and really do serious stuff. Boss went to buy new stuff from Ikea again and now beside me, there's this magnetic notice board where he'll stick notices of tasks i had to do and such. It was not bad coz my table was q a mess with loads of documents, so now i can stick them on the board to get my attention. :)

been running ard and doin dozen and one things since morning and lunch time jus wheezed by before i knew it. Boss told us that BS (if u had forgotten, it's the Black Spinster in the office) met into an accident and got into hospital. Ok not trying to be mean or wat, but my first reaction was "YEAH!!" =X ok i'm bad, but i can't help it that she's so mean i jus felt that this is her just deserts. WE tot she won't be coming into office and jus when we tot we could haf a quiet day at least, BS stepped in with a cast on her left hand. Ok so it wasn't that bad, thot she has some fractures or wat that she had to stay in bed, but nah, jus a fracture in the arm i spp. But she was abit traumatised i think, coz she was rather pale and didn't haf the energy to raise her voice. Suddenly, i softened, and think that it was rather mean of me to gloat over her mishap.

ok so i'm officially her 'charge' now coz she kept assigning things for me to do and not my other intern friend. Guess it's my turn now. I jus hope that I can do all the things she said and not invite any unnecessary shoutings from her. *bleah*

anyway, time passes by so quickly that it was alr time to knock off. But BS held me back a little coz she got new things for me to do for her. Luckily this time, it's more accounting related, or rather Company Law related. hah. interesting. jus wat i've been waiting for. And she said I'll do the accounts for this law firm. She specifically said me coz she dun wan 2 person to share the work else it'll be messy. I hope i can do it coz i've another set of accounts from another company that is driving me nuts. *cross fingers*

Oh and i watched that new sitcom on Ch5 starring Patricia Mok called 'My Sassy Neighbour'. I mus say Pat Mok is damn funny!!! got me laughing like mad thru out the half an hour. Been so long that i watch local sitcom and laughed so much!! (I'm sick of PCK and his family liao.) So mus watch every Tue 8.30 pm on Ch5! And Kui Jien and Priscelia Chan are so compatible, i hope they end up together in the show! :P

YEAH!!! tomolo is the Desire swimwear fashion show at PostBar @ Fullerton Hotel!! so exciting, Geok alr asked me to bring the camera along so can take the shots of those hunky models!!! mus grab a chance to take a picture with them!! *drools* Will load photos asap! Get back here to check 'em out! :D

Not bad ystd, fewer ppl so dun feel so cramped and i perspired thru out the class! felt so much better after the class but rather sleepy as well. think coz i had to wake up early for work. After that practically rushed down to Gombak for driving (only managed to sneak a quick bite of my fave California handroll at Tangs market before taking the train. yummy!!~). Driving was not bad, was q worried that i had forgotten how to drive after 2months hiatus. But luckily, it all got back to me when i sat down in front of the wheel. Drove like a gung-ho qualified driver lidat, and skidded tyres twice and stalled twice due to the skidding.. hee :P Instructor commented i looked so ugly when i did the u-turn, arms were flying everywhere!!! muahaha ;D

after driving went Edwin's house to meet up for FYP and set down the scope of our project and delegate work. Kop some mp3s frm him since my mp3s were unfortunately erased when i reformatted comp. Den met up with Mr. U for shopping. Only reached town like 8+ and i was having a quick browse but din manage to find tops that i could wear for work and sch. sianzzzz

hope Great SG Sale come soon!! :) and i'm so looking forward to Book Fair 2005!! been wanting to get some books to read and feed my brains and soul other than i-weekly and 8 days. Getting abit decadent in my thinking, i nid some soul food. any good books to recommend? Eng n chi also can as long as they're nice. Leave a tag yah? thanks!

Ugin's grandma passed away this evening, at the age of 91.

We were dining at Sushi Tei when Ugin received a call from his brother to tell him that Por Por had passed away and his mum wans him back home.

both of us were rather shocked because jus yesterday Ugin had visited Por Por after work and he told me she was getting better as her body became swollen a few days ago due to organ failure and water retention. I seriously tot she was really getting well, but i think this could probably what they usually said 回光返照 ba. Normally when a person is about to pass away, he or she would suddenly become more alert than usual and shortly after, he or she will pass away. Probably that's God's way of letting the deceased say goodbye to their loved ones ba.

We were not particularly upset but I was rather emotionally stirred. Ugin had been telling me about his granny and said that some day we can go and visit her at her house. But i never did visited her until tonight.

Ugin told me Por Por was one of those few women in her days who received education. She knew how to read and write in english, she plays mahjong regularly when she was much healthier. From these, i can tell she's really a strong woman and those few independent woman kind.

Our hearts were skipping a beat when we were in the lift to the her flat. The gates were wide open and it was brightly lit. His uncle and family were there already. Ugin's mum was red in the face from crying but he said his mum was rather prepared for this day. The maid was also red-eyed, guess she has also developed feelings for her when she was taking care of her daily needs. There were policemen around, taking down statements. We went in to take a last look of Por Por. She layed their peacefully but her mouth was open, as if trying to tell something. I held back my tears as I looked at her. Por Por has gone home to be with God and i know she's comforted in God's care.

People from S'pore Casket came to take Por Por away. They used those canvas sheet with wooden poles to lay Por Por on it and put a white cloth over her. I was abit angry when i saw them moving Por Por around to get her in a better 'position' to carry. Din like that they were rather chor lor with her. As i saw the men carried her out from her room, I cried. Couldn't control my tears and it jus fell. When she was living, she has both legs on the ground. Now she has her legs lying flat and being carried out of the house. It's too overwhelming.

I still felt a tinge of sadness because I had so much wanted to visit Por Por to get to know such an independent woman like her. My own grannies died even before i was born so i really duno how it feels to be living with one. I wished I had knew Por Por earlier and maybe I would be able to get to know her better....

To Por Por: Although you don't know me, I hope you'll be happy in Heaven with God. May you rest in peace.

had a really enjoyable day at work today!!!

not because the work was all that fantastic (i had to do casting almost the whole morning, and i got neck aches and fingers cramp after that! :( ) but because i had so much fun bitching with my other intern fren when all the ppl were out!!

yah, we're actually that bored until we jus started chit-chatting when no one was around, dun even feel like doin my work coz it's so BORING!!! =X

anyway, there's this lady P who was one of the partners of the firm. She's the meanest female i have ever witnessed so far in my life and i really detest that face of hers.

I noticed that she likes to wear black and she'll always wear black stockings. For once, i saw her in pants today, and u know wat? She wore black stockings underneath!!!!! *slaps forehead* And she put on so much foundation that i think it's like 1cm thick can? but it still can't cover her uneven complexion... hahah ;D And worse, she likes to smoke in the office toilet, make the whole toilet so smelly and dun even bother to spray some freshner after she use. Last Tue i went to buy a bottle of handwash (coz they were using dishwashing liquid to wash hand) and by today, it was less than half!!! U guessed it rite again, she used almost the entire bottle!!! *grrr* And wat's more, she likes to use ALOT of toilet roll and tissue and always squeeze so much handsoap to wash such that the ENTIRE basin was full of foam!!! ( i shud take a picture next time to let u guys see) She's really a BITCH man. really can't stand her.

My fren is so poor thing. He's under her and always has to run errands for her, even lunch! And she eats chicken rice almost everyday!!! Gosh, everyday 鸡饭, no wonder she so ugly! pui! and she has a very bad temper, shall gif her a nick name: Black Spinster *muahaha!!!* how apt! she likes to wear black and she's an old spinster! *evil grin*

if u were in my shoe, u wud haf hated her to the max also. Really admire my fren on how he can actually survive under her. He said he jus treated her as if she's barking! True!

had so much fun laughing about Black Spinster on our way to the mrt that my tears were almost flowing out! This really made my day!! hahahahahhaha ;D

ok, i shall be happy again.

too much unnecessary worrying and crying, i'm getting sick and tired of it.

Jie Si is right. If we ahve already done everything we could do, then we jus leave it even if the matter does not get resolved or wat. True, I have really done all that i could do and i think there's really nothing else that I could help or cause the matter to be better in any way. So why should i left myself to worry so much over absolutely nothing I can do??

Yup, i'm gonna make myself happy from now on. It's gonna be quite difficult, consider that I get affected very easily, but it shall be a challenge for me from now on! ;D

so i'm not gonna blog about how i get scolded by my boss this whole morn how i had a not-so-good day.

shall go sleep soon liao... another dreadful day ahead tom..

my weekend was an emotional rollercoaster...

fri and sat was really fun, had gatherings with my sec sch clique and jc clique respectively. saw my pals whom i haven seen for some time, chit-chatted abt sch, abt life and such.. really gd time.

but they had to spoil my otherwise joyous mood ystd, by throwing me into a deep realm of heart aches and tears.

sometimes i wonder why Dad can jus get so angry and agitated over such things. and all the unpleasant and nasty words had to come out and make things worse. sometimes i wonder y Mum has to to do this to make Dad angry, but i realise she's quite miserable also.

One party wans to lead her life the way she wans it; the other party wans his wife to always be by his side and cook and look after the family.

I think both parties are at fault. not jus this time but in all of the quarrels and arguments. It takes 2 hands to clap.

I wan to be strong and not get emotionally involved with such things but i broke down again and i can't help that my tears are flowing down uncontrollably. I really wan to not care about them anymore but i can't coz i love them so much..

can't be bothered any more.. i haf God to turn to for comfort.

ok haven't been blogging for a couple of days..... that's because my everyday events aren't exactly that exciting.... when it comes to work nothing can be exciting....bleah.

came to work with Kor this morn as he has to go back office which is also at Tg Pagar area..

so now I come into work alone before 9am to open the door, switch on aircon, hi-fi and boil water. Sounds like those cleaning auntie lidat... but i get to use unlimited internet lar... that's one big bonus. ;P

so sian, everyday do boring stuff... i wan to learn more also, but i think they're all so busy doing things themselves and my boss is always outside meeting clients, so i also can't really ask.

Ystd Ei Ei did something wrong and Yvonne was scolding her like mad. Tension arises in the office ystd also, and the drilling at downstairs soon-to-be-opened 7-11 has to rub it into all the commotion. sianz. I hate this kind of stuff, esp it's in this kind of small office, you can't avoid hearing nasty things they talk behind each other's back/back-stabbing/gossiping blah blah...

hope today will be more eventful, altho i can't seem why it should be. 1st week is almost over, i still haf 9 weeks left.... so long... =(

first day of work at my attachment company and i was almost late.

My stupid new shoe dun haf padding on the sole, so when i wanted to walk faster, it felt as if I was about to slip.

Ok lame excuse, i shud haf gotten up earlier. No, i should haf slept earlier last nite. Wateva.

Ok reached the co, and the other 2 interns were there alr, but I wasn't late. The boss was there also, a young man in mid-thirties, also an Acc grad from NTU. He spent almost 1hr toking n chit chatting to us coz he said he forgot his employees only come in at 10am for work. Nabeh.

And so he started talking to us. At one point in time, I felt he couldn't think of anything to say liao den go and tok abt nonsense, like there are alot of pubs n restaurants at our place, and used to haf a lot of gays... blah blah... how he can act like a gangster when he meet with difficult clients, the co also deals with durian sellers, temples, and kept on emphasizing their track record include Hooters (at least mentioned 4 times, including 2 other lady partners), Save the Planet ("A subsidiary of Hour Glass, you know, Jannie Tay", finishing off with a smug look. urgh) and "other big companies that I could not remember" (if they're big cos, y can't u remember them! I wonder if they're BIG in the first place. bah.)

anyway, not saying that the first day is all sucky and wat. They treated us to lunch at this Chi restaurant opened by HK chef.. hah i love free meals! :P After that, got down to serious business... I was assigned to one of the partners, this petite lady called Yvonne, who deals mainly in auditing and another colleague, a Myanmar lady called Ei Ei (pronounced as yi-yi). So they taught me how to use MYOB (the famous user-friendly acctg software) and I started some auditing work by keying some financial data inside for audting later on.

So basically that's how the 1st day of work went. Oh and the other 2 lady partners kept telling us that Steven (my boss) dun like people who knock off on the dot one, becoz it's as if he/she is dying to leave the office. (who dun wan to go home early?? siao!) So although i was longing for 6pm to come, i had to 'force' myself to do beyond that 'official' time. But i cleared my work for today, tomolo has more stuff to do and the boss handed me the office keys to open the door tom morn!!! shiat, that means i mus be earlier than 9pm liao... tamade.

oh and the people there dun relly haf a strict dress code one, so i think i can wear other tops besides standard blouses n skirt to work tom. The only comforting part for today. sighzzz..

hohoho! had my first class of yoga, i mus say it's really not easy!! really admire all the other ladies who were there and had learn for some time liao, their posture was perfect and they could jus split their legs 180 degrees anytime they wan to!! wah, i hope i can be like them!! :P

The class was quite short coz it's only an hour, but it was quite good because Lilian taught us all the basics that could help us to stretch almost every muscle in our body. Felt quite good after the class, tho abit hard to catch breath at the last part and was perspiring profusely. But it felt good. Guess i really nid to do some running or swimming liao, my stamina is way too low!!! =X

after class, met up with Ugin for Kingdom of Heaven movie. The movie was not bad, and the scenes of battle was rather exhilarating as well. Though there were a lot of bloodshed as usual. Orlando Bloom (Balian) looked more manly in this show as the Baron of Ebelin (dunow how to spell :P) who was obliged to defend Kerak, in Jerusalem from the Saludin, the Muslim ruler.

Esp love the part when Balian's father (Liam Neeson) knighted him so that Balian can succeed him after he passed away.

This is a good movie that I would recommend to you guys, go watch it!! ;)

after that we were walking around wisma looking for working clothes and Ugin asked if I wan to pierce another ear hole. We had been cotemplating to pierce a earhole each after exams but didn't really haf time to do so. So the 1st step Ugin is taking to change his image is to pierce his ear!!! haha :P

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
ooh! metrosexual sia!!! haha :P he was acting 'scared' before i pulled him to Bits n Pieces to pierce. ;D

after that went to get a bouquet of flowers for Mummy before meeting her, Daddy and Kor and his new gf for Mother's Day dinner at Spageddies.

The florist shop above Orchart Mrt is really cheap! got a neat single stalk gerbera hand bouquet for only $10. The lady was so nice to wrap with nice paper and leaves, babies' breath and forget-me-nots.

Mummy with her bouquet of flowers. Happy Mother's Day!! Love you loads! *muacks*

ok, shall go sleep soon... had a very eventful day... *yawnzzz*

I'M BACK!!!!!!!! did anyone miss me?? (I know Ben did, coz he called me right after i reached home! thankew!! *muacks* ;P)

wow, 3D2N is really vvvv short. altho KL wasn't as fun as i had expected it to be, it was still a great road trip with Ugin coz we get to spend some good quality time tog after the dreaded exams.

woke up real early on Tue morn (think around 5.15am when Mummy came into 'ka jiao' me) and headed to Lavender where the coach was waiting for us. We had arrived early, but didn't noe exactly where we're suppose to board the bus coz the staff didn't tell us when we went to collect the tix. Luckily Ugin said we should check it out at Konsortium's counter in case, and only to realise that we had actually waited at the wrong bus! it was 7.25am already and our coach was due to leave at 7.30am. So we had to go to the adj building where their branch was to check ourself in for the coach. Luckily we made it on time. Konsortium buses are quite spacious, good transport for long distance trips like this one.

Spent about 4+, 5 hours on the roads (M'sian roads are like never-ending one, and there are alot of toll stations as well) before arriving our asses at Puduraya Bas Station (act we got down halfway becoz the coach was stuck in the traffic waiting to get into the bus station). Hailed a teksi ("taxi") to our hotel which was at the borders of KL and Selangor.

Our accomo was at Eastin Hotel, which was a rather nice 4-star business hotel. The staff there were lk quite shocked to see 2 ginas walking into their front lobby, checking ourselves in. (mebe the Singnet promo that Ugin got was targeted at businessmen) But well wat the heck, since we're here liao, and we're paying for their services, guess we shoudn't feel out of place (altho i think we were the only ones, in bright red Deuters, sandals and shorts :P)

The promo that Ugin got from Singnet was act a birthday promo, so the hotel package came with a 500g cake and coffee for high tea. Gosh, u shud haf seen the astonished look on our faces when the waiter brought in the plate. We had thot it was jus a small and nice SLICE of cake and a cup of coffee BUT NO!!! it was a 500g cake!!! which is like 18cm x 18cm???? *faints* it was so damn beeeg that i was wondering if were able to finish it at all!!

haha we could only managed 2 big slices of the cake before we called it quits. Took a teksi again to Times Square!!!!!!!!!! Been wanting to go there so long liao, coz kept hearing about how big and grand it was. Well true, it was huge and posh and stuff, but hey, the shops there were exorbitantly ex!!!!!! piang eh, it was like no diff from Taka or Paragon in SG lo... duhzz, make me come all the way here to look at stuff that cost the same in SG. nabeh.

After walking level by level (it was super big with 10 floors altog!!), we managed to find a seemingly-good hair salon (with a nice sounding name, Kimarie. think SG also haf) to get a hair cut. Jus nice they were having a opening promo which gives a wash+cut at RM$17.50!!!! haha that's freakingly cheap lar!! hah we hurried went for it, so kiasu! :P But the hair cut was good, i had a better deal coz normally hair cut for girls are more tedious so for the same price, i had a pretty good hair trim by a chio-bu hairstylist (think SG Orchard Rd high class salons can't be compared to her! *mesmerised*). But it was kinda spoilt when she sunk her well-manicured nails deep into my scalp when she washed my hair!!! *oouuchhh!!!* wah lau eh, i almost screamed my lungs off when she began scrubbing my hair with shampoo. it was as if the cat's paws was scratching on the wall!! *goose pimples* yikes, i think i shan't elaborate in case u guys alr have the goose pimples all standing up!

ok apart from that, shopping at Times Sq was no fun esp becoz u're there to buy bargained items, which is ME. So we adjourned to some other shopping places on the map, Sungei Wang Plaza (Wat a name, so ah tiong. *oops!* )

But hey this mall ain't no ah tiong k... hee :P It's machiam like Far East Plaza lidat... the kind of setting and shops, really like the exact replica of FE. But the stuff there are cheap and interesting too!! I found one boutique which sells Mickey Mouse clothes, shoes, bags and accessories only!!! It's so cool!!! i was trying out the jeans and was so tempted to get that! but too bad it's rather ex (RM$139) and it's alittle tight for comfort so i gave up. The tops were vvv nice too! most were sewn on with sequins that has the shape of Mickey but were abt S$50 at least..... waayyy out of my budget. So there's only the eye feast and the "wah....".

There are really a LOT of stuff to shop and as the shopping queen which i was well known of, i could hardly resist the temptation of sinking my hands into one or 2 items. Bought a Snoopy pencil case at this shop which sells all kinds of wallets, pouches, handbags, pencil cases of all diff kinds of characters like Snoopy, Blythe, Nightmare before Christmas, Playboy, PostPet, Doraemon and others!! really cool, stayed there for like almost half n hour, touching this and that, before Ugin pulled the reluctant me away... :P

ok i think most of u would haf fallen sleep at this juncture... So i shall jus cut short on my KL trip. hee :P

Second day was at Sunway Lagoon, with a free Mercs ride to and fro to the theme park. Sunway was really boring.. there were unfinished construction goin on and the water rides were jus too..... UN-EXCITING (if there's such a word) It can't even be compared to the old Fantasy Island in Sentosa can! *pui!!* We ended Sunway Lagoon after 2 hours inside and headed for more shopping instead. There's a shopping mall jus beside it called Sunway Pyramid, which is built like the Pyramids in Egypt. The shops were much better than Times Sq and were more affordable. We shared a Coney Dog hotdog bun and Sisters Crispy Popiah. The food was good and it was under RM$10. ;P Our Mercs came to pick us up back to the hotel at 4pm (we felt as if were from some Royal Family. hah.) and we went out again after 1hr of pitstop for more shopping!!! haha, wat can u expect to do in KL besides eating and shopping??? =D

This time we went to Mid Valley Mega Mall. Trust me, it's really a MEGA MALL. the whole bldg was separated into 5 courts, the North, South, East, West and the Centre Court. Each court has about 5 levels, so u can imagine how many shops there were!!! I kept asking Ugin how come SG dun haf such megal malls, becoz if we do haf one, the tourists n locals would be streaming in everyday!! and they haf shops there which were only one brand, like MCKY (the Mickey boutique store. why SG dun haf!!! urgh.), M.A.C cosmetics, The Dance Shop (which sells appraels for hip-hop dance, ballet etc), The Pets Store (this is a double storey pet shop in a shopping mall!!), Toy City etc. I really think malls in SG should take reference from this Mid Valley Mega Mall, becoz even on weekdays, it was also very crowded!!

After 2 days of shopping, i was really worn out.... my legs hurt and my back aches. my eyes were blood shot red from all the browsing and stuff, my stomach is filled with sushi (Their Sushi King franchise pale in comparison to our Sakae. Sakae rules!!!), doughnuts, ice-cream, coke, hotdog, fries and other sinful food!!! my 2weeks hiatus from snack resulting in minimal weight loss is GONE. I hafta try harder to lose weight now. boohoo!!~~

Anyway, it was really good getaway from SG (altho it's still more shopping, but at least I feel rich over there coz everthing is half price!! *muahahaha*) plus i'm with Ugin, which makes the entire trip more enjoyable!. Kudos to my darling for keeping me company, for offering to carry the heavy haversack, for buying me food when i'm jus too tired to walk anymore and for other things. love ya loads!!!! *smooch!!*

Hopefully this is a 'good' guide for those peeps who are considering goin to KL for shopping. A word of advice: Find a hotel that is near KL city, preferably near all the shopping areas, so that it'll be of walking distance from ur hotel to the shopping districts. We spent almost RM$70 on cab fare alone coz our hotel is at the suburbs of KL city and cabs are the only means of convenient trspt.

Also, unless u jus want to take a peek of the 'famed' Times Sq and Sunway Lagoon, I would advise u gif it a miss and spend more time shopping at Sungei Wang and Mid Valley, becoz these 2 shopping malls are really worth walking n buying stuffs from!

Some pics to go along with the otherwise too wordy entry:

some of the upcoming movie blockbusters you wouldn't want to miss:

1) Batman Begins - starring Christian Bale, Katie Holmes, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman.

2) Sin City - starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Benecio Del Toro, Brittany Murphy, Clive Owen

3) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint

(no official publicity poster out yet)

4) Fantastic Four - starring Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman (the rest of the cast you don't need to know ;P)

And FYI, the movie tix at GV, Shaw and Engwah has already risen to $7, $8 and $9.50. Only Cathay cinemas remain unchanged, so let's all visit Cathay from now on. Let the ppl at GV, Shaw and EW suffer terribly!!!! (who ask them to raise their tix price jus to cover utilities!! *pui!*)
