woohoo!!! EVERYBODY I'M BACK!!! with a BANG!! ;D
only reached Singapore at about 8.45am this morn, the bus took super darn long to reach from Jerteh town lar. Boarded the bus at 9.30pm ystd nite and only reached this morn. That's the thing with cheap bus coz they'll nid to make several stop overs to pick up diff passengers.
Anyway, my dive trip can only be described with one word: EXHILARATING!!! Haha, i'm super super tanned now, abit of sun burnt but I'm so happy that I'm dark again! ;P I got to touch the clear blue sea and saw so many marine life! And it's my first time managing underwater photography, I must say I'm quite good at it actually! tho not as pro as Ugin (definitely man!) but i think i mus gif myself a huge pat on the back for the effort! *Photos will be uploaded once I've edited it. ;P
The ppl at Flora Bay Divers were warm and welcoming. Our dive masters were mostly caucasians, mostly hailed from Britain with their british accent. There were loads of ang mohs over there, sun tanning, snorkellling or jus signing up their dive courses. Most have stayed there for a couple of weeks liao, so it's like their own private house lidat. hah :) How i wished i could have stayed longer over there. Imagine waking up to beautiful sandy beaches, swaying coconut trees and that vast blue sea!!! whoa, makes me wanna go there again! :)
Think Perhentian is definitely much better than Redang, consider it's actually more homely and quiet than other resorts we've been to, like Tioman, Batam and such. Less commercialised i suppose, doesn't gif u the feel that you're in another Sentosa or sth lidat. The service crew there treated us like their family members, cept that they were the ones serving us. When we were diving, the ppl there helped us to carry our tanks and other equipment, sth we didn't quite felt comfortable with, coz we're quite used to carry our own stuff to the boat everytime. (which probably explains why i felt so happy and rejuvenated, rather than groaning with my bruises and aches. ;P)
We had diff guides each day, with this lovely Brit lady called Beth, who took us on the first dive and the last one. She was really warm becoz she knew we were there for leisure and were armed with cameras so she accomodate to us and let us stay at one spot longer in order to capture some nice shots. There's another Brit Indian, Ravi who was quite chatty also, he made us felt homely diving with them. :)
The place wasn't as decorated or well furnished as Paya Beach in Tioman (their bathroom was reali nice!) but it jus gave us all a v homely feel. Think I would prob go back again sometime soon. :)
And sch's starting!!!! yeah!! haha i'm finally a FINAL year student!! ;P can't wait to start sch and see my pals man, it'll be soo different as a final yr student and like the most senior ones ard in my faculty. Den we'll start gossiping abt which freshie is cute and what nots. (and prob Ben will start to salivate once more *grinz*)
Alritey, time to get back to my PA report, I haven't started a single word! *Altho i have loads to write, but i haven't figured out how to write in the most subtle but sarcastic tone. heh :P
